Chemist credited by a review with a fully synthetic route to halichondrin B

Yoshito Kishi

Swami and colleagues credit Yoshito Kishi with developing a completely synthetic method for halichondrin B, which allowed the development of eribulin; their text dates this to 1998 but cites the 1992 total-synthesis paper of Aicher and colleagues, on which Kishi is a listed author.
