First author of the 1979 paper on 1,4-bis[(aminoalkyl)amino]-9,10-anthracenediones

First author of the 1979 Journal of Medicinal Chemistry paper, the first in the series Antitumor agents, on 1,4-bis[(aminoalkyl)amino]-9,10-anthracenediones. Its abstract describes a 5,8-dihydroxy compound with 2-hydroxyethyl groups on the terminal nitrogens and does not name mitoxantrone.
