First author of the 1984 report of polyethylene glycol-asparaginase conjugates in mice
A. Abuchowski
First author of a 1984 report that attaching polyethylene glycol to E. coli and Vibrio succinogenes asparaginases gave active, stable conjugates with greatly extended half-lives in mice, and an author of a 1981 report of the PEG adduct given to four patients and of a 1986 clinical pharmacology study. Only the initial is given in the sources read.
